Chamucos Studio is a lifestyle blog and limited edition t-shirts & products brand. Taking inspiration from art/design, cycling, Mexican culture and life in Los Angeles, i will blog regularly and have t-shirt releases as they come about.
It all started with a few doodles of skate graphics back in junior high school. One friend asked "Can you draw the Ray Barbee graphic on my book cover?" I answered, "Sure, why not?" grabbed a pencil and drew the rag doll from the Powell Ray Barbee pro model. And with that I started a lifelong love of doodling and sketching. I kept at it through the years and graduated from college as a graphic designer. I have spent the last 12 years working in the graphics industry, and I still doodle and sketch whenever I can.
After getting lots of positive compliments and feedback about my sketches and doodles, I decided to keep them instead of throwing them away. I began to keep sketchbooks and also started to vectorize those drawings on my Mac, and got the idea to do something cool with them, like make stickers, T-shirts, etc., and this is where Chamucos Studio begins.
Chamucos Studio is a place where I will post those drawings I do for fun along with a blog about everything that inspires these works. Occasionally I will have some limited edition pieces for sale and even have some special releases. The blog will mostly be photos and videos. Please comment and visit often.
